Low fee Bitcoin buying
Hi, I’m looking to buy Bitcoin and store on my hardware wallet. I bought an initial $10k on Coinbase, but with fees and spread they kept $200, network fee for the transfer to wallet not even included. What exchange would you recommend for further buys? I’d like to minimize the fees, but still keep it convenient, secure, and user-friendly.

Is there any way to avoid fees completely? I thought limit purchases were 0 fee for gdax a while ago

Yeah they started charging a fee
Use VPN and join anonymously on Binance regular (not US). Risk is getting account locked but has not happened to me yet in 3+ years. More regulation is coming so it could be more risky now. Buy USC or DAI and transfer to Binance. They also have BTC Defi like pools where you can get some serious interest per year (10+%). Another option is KuCoin
Why not binance US version?
