Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
I am an SDE and I want to transition to a managerial role sometime in future. It is not a very strong desire and I don't want to transition immediately but maybe sometime in the future I want to work in a managerial role. I currently have a bachelor's in CS and no mangerial experience whatsoever. Started at Amazon as SDE1 and got promoted to SDE2. Total experience is about 3 years. In this case, does it make more sense to do a vanilla MBA or is it better to do a MS in IT Project Management? TC 252k
You do know IT is different from core SW development and creating launch-able products ?
OP: robots/AI are taking over. So good luck finding a “manager” job one day. Also all the layoffs are targeting managers now.
