MBB Consulting or Tech PM
Currently at a top MBA program and was planning to only recruit for PM positions. Given how the tech market is doing, wanted to cast a wider net - should I be looking at places like BCG / Bain? They’ve also increased base salary to 190K, which goes far in a LCOL city. #tech #consulting
I’m undergrad, but recruited and had offers at both MBB and PM. If you were originally gunning for PM, it’s not that hard to be competitive for MBB while you’re at it imo
If you are asking this with no offer in hand then you are probably out of luck for both. Bain and bcg are nearing the end of recruiting for mba hires. On a different point if you somehow manage to pull a miracle. Overall tc, growth and more opportunities later on goes to mbb. Chill lifestyle and if you really want to be in tech goes to pm
MBB doesn’t offer anything on top of base?
roughly 20-25% bonus for post-MBA level.
