What does your company forces you to use and what do you think of it? (Excel PM here)
Was on Google, new company on O365. Gotta say MSFT is in a bind on this. The online version on excel blows chunks. But to make it better you'd have to abandon the desktop app. Sure the desktop app is so much more powerful than GSheets but 99% of users don't need more than GSheets. If it were my call I'd freeze the desktop app to get online parity with Google.
Power user: desktop version on windows (can literally operate without a mouse) Everyone else: gdocs
Neither. Can't say which one we use though as I'm not sure whether it's public or not.
For small docs, Google is fine. Larger docs/sheets bring browsers to their knees. Always wanted to try collaboration in a desktop app.
Google docs, and we still get a desktop MS office, but rarely anyone would use the latter. Collaboration is very streamlined in GDocs and most common features are supported.
Most startups find it easy to use google docs as it gives them email etc - so technically startups force google docs and gmail though I personally hate it
