Why do you choose to work at companies that clearly have no future? Genuinely curious…
Probably money
Plenty of other companies that can match…
Who can match Meta? 🍌?
Lol, they voted for this so live with the consequences!!!
Okay, that's enough out of you Bill.com
People exchange money for goods and services. Meta and Snap pay money. Maybe it's not their only employer. Maybe they are trying to bring them down from the inside! Sometimes it's just fun to watch a company burn from the inside while you giggle maniacally.
Based!
At an individual level, the work is certainly more fun than what I’d be doing at Salesforce.
There’s a million other companies with bright futures that can offer you “fun” so this doesn’t really answer my question
Actually not really, I work in a niche field. Not that many companies that offer this type of opportunity.
Ah someone from the retirement home forgot to take their meds
Ah, I’m surprised you have free time to comment. Better get back to work before you get PIP’d!
And you need to go lay down, all this technology and innovation at other companies must feel confusing and overwhelming
Meta definitely has a future…I’m surprised Salesforce is still around with how much they charge for their products
It’s interesting you say because it’s companies like Microsoft that are willing to pay that much for our services
I guess this comment made sense as you were typing but no sense as I was reading
Bc for me, yearly TC was 3 million on average from Q2 2020 - Q4 2021. It's now a mere 520k after our top off and with today's drop. How is Salesforce?
High pay, that’s fair. But I’m sure there are growing companies with bright futures that can match your TC.
Possibly. But why not gamble with a company whose top off price is $11? If it goes to $22 I stand to make $3M over 3 years in stock. Not as great as 2020, or 2021, but better than 99% of other options. Great risks yield great reward. Sure it may go down to $5, but that's part of the risk. I work to maximize money and take risks. It's paid off for me. Who gives a fuck about a company's future other than if it can get you rich personally?
Toxic op

What about LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is doing great as far as I can tell
Linkedin has a monopoly professional networking site and is top site for recruiters looking for candidates.
