I hate my f***** life
AI bubble bursting because AI isn鈥檛 contributing as much to the economy as everyone expected. It was too early for AI anyway just like 2000 was too early for the internet.
AI is contributing to the electric bill lol
>everyone Speak for yourself 馃き
Unclear why it dropped. The earnings report was perfect.
Investors get freaked every time Zuck talks about the metaverse too much
Revenue guidance is weak

WTF is going to wear an eye sore worth $1500 on their face for the whole day.. Technology is a graveyard of such wearables.. people ditched Google Glass which was a much lighter version and this guy thinks people are going to spend their whole day wearing a box on their face. I think he got a bit too much inspired by the movie Ready Player One..
Google glass was a piece of shit that cost $1500 and made you look like an asshole. They ray bans cost $300 and there's plenty of people wearing that brand every day. No idea where you get that Google glass were lighter. That's just not true.
Ray Ban is a fashion statement. Meta headset is a statement that the wearer is an idiot.
People have very short memories. They forgot the Meta verse pivot and burned billions for it
Mark burned billions on Metaverse. AI investments (billions). Now he is talking about Metaverse again 馃槀.
Harsh truth.
Yeah meta pays top of market. People have to realize with insane comp with good refreshers comes high costs. I would still take the meta offer any day of the week but it鈥檚 expected that stock will be scrutinized for their high R&D.
This is what's wrong with the market today. Companies known for innovation are being criticized for spending what really is a small % of their budget on actual R&D. So Wall St would rather they blow it on marketing and other useless crap? No wonder innovation has been stifled the past several years. R&D should be 40 or 50% imo.
AI is the new Metaverse
The Ray Bans collab is where it's at. As they improve llama, I can definitely see it getting more and more popular. Not having to take out my phone to capture moments is pretty cool.
That was years ago and you barely even hear about it 馃き. Never heard of someone who wasn't a tech bro or Rayban salesperson taking about them
Wdym years ago it is still a current product?
300$ price target. Overhyped due to AI when Meta being an advertising app is not going to get the benefits of it. The value of AI will be constrained to platform owners: Google, Apple and Nvidia.
Metaverse is all about AI
Sure as long as you can convince your grandma to switch from a phone to a headset
