Microsoft CSA security Hiring Event - team match?

Hi guys, I attended an hiring event for cloud solutions architect security, I had 3 rounds of interviews and they all went really well. I got feedback from the interviewers cos I always ask the question, “is there anything you wanted more on, or anything I didn’t quite answer well?” And they all said no, they think I’d be a great fit ; technically and culturally for Microsoft. The last and most senior interviewer said he hopes I get chosen but from what he can see the other interviewers had positive things to say. Fast forward, 2 days after the interview, I got a call from the recruiter telling me it was positive feedback but they went with someone in a different time zone and it was only one role. I’m in EST and they went with someone in CST. She then said she’d keep my feedback in the system and once a role opens up I’d get priority. She also said if I see any role for cloud solutions architect - security, I should just apply and she would try to speak to the hiring manager internally. Said it might take a couple of weeks and I might have to speak with the HM again. I’m not sure what this means but is this team matching? Or is this just a soft rejection of we’d keep your profile on file. Please help #microsoft #security #hiring #hiringmanager #interview #interviewed

You passed the loop. Just need a HM to pick you. It's basically a team match but MSFT hiring can be pretty disorganized. Don't be surprised if you slip through the cracks.

any tips for passing this?

Not really. It's a bidirectional interview. So make sure you ask questions to see if you really want to be on that team. If the HM is already talking to you it means they picked you out of the candidate pool already and are interested.
