Microsoft should just start calling itself a non-profit social justice warrior. SLT please read. I know you read Blind.

Too many people, mostly women, keep getting hired as recruiters, PMs, Marketing. They just use flowery language, with no actual skills, and contribute nothing. They schedule meetings, do small talk, and then deflect the actual work to engineers. Such people simply milk good salaries, take long maternity leaves and are a tax on company finances. In the end, overhiring leads to teams getting cut, sometimes engineers who can actually build things, end up losing their jobs. It's bizarre that this is going on...so just fucking drop the facade and call yourself a social justice warrior.

MSFT is literally one of the most profitable companies on the planet. Whatever they're doing us working.

This is a stupid argument. They were trailing behind others, not even of FAANG. Got lucky with openAI but will soon be replaced by Google and others

Lucky? lol

Unlike other companies, PMs at Microsoft get the same compensation as engineers. This is bizarre given Microsoft PMs are not known for their skills. I would understand if it is for Apple (some are darn good). Microsoft marketing is some of the worst (competing for the bottom against Google).

DAE women?

Microsoft hY74hCi Jan 27

I could give you examples of questionable hires across both genders and all demographics. Please don’t make negative sweeping generalizations about women.

Even engineers at Microsoft do like 5% of what other average SDEs do and get paid half salary. That’s unfair too. Let’s fire them ? Or pay them 5% of industry standard ?
