I have 5 years of experience in New product introduction(consumer electronics) and I completed my MBA in global procurement in Germany. I started my job and I am offered only 40k. I am considering doing Ms in project management (stem degree) in USA, how much salary can I expect? Is it worth taking this risk. I am not from well of family. I am aiming Missouri state university (for tuition and living expenses are within my limit) #NPI #projectmanagement
Are you still at Contentful? Why not aiming for an internal relocation to an office in the USA?
I am not a full time employee here. Also ms is the only way for me to get a visa
Not sure if it will be that easy to find a job in the USA with a foreign education and experience unless it’s a field where they can’t find enough people here and are willing to sponsor
I don't have a visa in usa. This is the only reason for me to consider a ms in usa and I will get a visa.
Yes but a visa doesn’t mean a work permit
Oh I had missed the visa part. Um, even if you come for that reason, don’t do MS in project management. Maybe to MS in information systems or business intelligence or something else of more heft. That MS in project management sounds like it is targeted directly at people like you, who are trying to fast-track to a specific role, and they are taking advantage of folk’s hopes.

Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
MS in project management sounds like a waste of money, especially if you already have an MBA. Universities these days are just trying to sell you useless degrees. Better spend the time interviewing.
I was looking for NPI profiles in usa and most of them preferred pmp or pmi certification. I didn't want to change my line which is why I choose the closest to my resume.
Then just do PMP/PMI certification. That I fully support and you should go for it. Keep track of what part of your work you can get credit for as PM experience — guidelines are very generous: even being in a meeting counts. As far as TC, easy $100k+ in any medium-large public company in the midwest/south, much more if you get on a hot tech company in a tech hub.
