Can i stretch to 300 TC with any of these companies? Suggestion? #tech #Panw #Tiktok #Intuit #DocuSign #Offers
Definitely DocuSign
Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉
Seriously, 996 for same pay as others? Easy pass
Yup, honestly i can push for 300 tc and it’s possible but do you think there’s any point negotiating, with ipo risk, 996 culture, no raises for next 1-2 years. Let me know, thank you.
Avoid any place that is highly poltical. You want to enjoy your work rather involve in politics. If you are getting less salary should be fine but choose right company and good environment to work. Money is not everything. You should happy at your work and build relationships and trust.
I totally agree with you, unless there is not too much difference in pay.
Which company is not political?
Congrats!!!.
Thanks buddy!
Did you try to negociate between offers?
Docusign offer was very low initially so the current is after negotiation. No negotiations with others so far, but open to suggestions? Do you have any tips?
If you have a target amount in mind, you could just directly ask them if they can increase
DocuSign is good but Tiktok is dark horse and it will emerge like facebook. Potential of learning and career growth is in Tiktok.
I have been told what pay you come with is what you take for next 1-2 years, promotion often happen without raise. They hire you on a high TC to attract but then you’ll keep hearing that as a reason for no raises. A lot of people have mentioned to me 12 hour working is a real thing + sometimes weekends. Worth it?
If you are unmarried then you should give priority to learning and career growth. Real growth of learning and career happen with company that is in early stage and getting market traction. You will get opportunity to build stuff from ground up. If you wanted to become Architect then early stage company is good. If you wanted to make career at management side then choose DocuSign.
Can you breakdown the Tiktok offer? Didn't know they had no refreshers and raises. My recruiter told me today that they want to extend an offer and she will talk with compensation team at China to figure out the numbers. All I know at this point is that they have %25 yearly cash bonus and %15-25-25-35 vest schedule.
Something on lines of ~ 175-240/4 it can go higher though. I am not 100% sure they actually give 25% bonus i got different numbers from tiktok employees which were lesser than 25% now i cannot say thats the case with all teams. Which team btw? Dm me if you want to chat.
are you talking to non-eng from tiktok? eng bonus is 25% but non-eng may be 12.5% target.
Stay away from tiktok if it's gonna be acquired by Oracle
Why? Don’t think acquisition will go through - at best Oracle holds a minority stake
That deal is not happening for sure.
Did palo alto gave any stocks? Seems like it. I was told no stocks for new hires
Lol how is this possible? How will they pay you then just base?
Can you please give a breakdown of your PA offer. I am almost rejecting them lol
