base: 220k bonus: 8% rsu: 160k over 4 years 1 year cliff sing-on: 0 looking at projected ~275k/year for MCOL (remote) Is the rsu too low? these were given by recruiter for mid range and mentioned some flexibility.
Probably good time only as the stock is all time low.
that is what i'm thinking too, this stock should be at lest $7 - $10 in a few years as they become profitable and expand. there are many companies like this that are in similar situation. i'm hoping to join one of them.
Base 220K? Isn’t that pretty good for senior?
Really low offer. YOE? Senior engineers should be making at least 100k more than that. And any company offering an 8% bonus is a joke, why even have it?
10+ yoe. 8% is low yes but thats the standard now in these small companies as bonus is your perf + company perf. they can always give 0 for company perf in a down market. there is no data in levels fyi but in glassdoor the rsu listed there is 80k - 110k per year for similar position and that may be for HCOL. I think its worth an interview and see if they can improve the offer to 350k+ if not no harm no foul.
