I applied to a recent robotics-related Nvidia job posting about two weeks ago. My profile matches the job description quite well. 1. I have done everything in the "What you’ll be doing" section at least once before. Deployed in the real world. At scale. 2. I check everything in "What we need to see" quite well. 3. I am likely not over-qualified. I have only slightly more years of experience than the job requests. Levels are similar. 4. I also check everything in "Ways to stand out from the crowd" section of the job description. 5. My resume organically has all the keywords of the job description without me modifying it specifically for this role. I know there are lots of amazing people out there that have done awesome stuff - but with my profile, I at least expect(ed) to be shortlisted. The application status has been showing "Application in Review" for all these days. My questions to folks out there, specially at #nvidia #recruiting 1. How long does this shortlisting process usually take? Am I getting too anxious too soon? 2. How do recruiters arrive at shortlists on Workday? Do they read all resumes, do they do a keyword search or write advanced filters on Workday? Do these filters work on descriptions or the skill tags used during the application? 3. During the better days (last few years), nvidia recruiters reached out quite frequently. I didn't want to move then. Is it true that there are enough applications to these roles on their site that recruiters no longer need to look out? Job listing is still open - so clearly more applications are being solicited. 4. Is there any sort of an acceptable follow up mechanism? Like finding and getting in touch with the hiring manager or recruiter working with the team? 5. Lastly, is the Workday status I see really representative of whats happening behind the scenes? What's the next positive status I should be looking for? Does it ever go "Rejected" at some point or is it a indefinite wait? YoE: 9 TC: 425k

Tiktok offer
For 1), I applied for a role in September, got an interview request mid November, and am just entering offer negotiation now. So my experience was that their resume review and overall process is pretty slow.
Interesting! Helps to know it can take that long.
what kind of robotics do you do?
A lot of text but no tc
