Need help with Illumina offer evaluation
Hello team, I got an offer for senior HW engineer for Hayward location. I'm also interviewing with other companies at this moment. How does Illumina offer sound? You could push for 150k
Also keep in mind that the bonus has not been paid out in full for probably 5 years. Hayward is a manufacturing site so you'll be dealing mostly with instrument final test. Also keep in mind that with the announcement from two days ago an offer is not likely to materialize. You don't want to step into a company about to have a massive RIF. Finally see comments here about the company. WLB may be a lot better than the semi industry but if you thrive on action and crisp decisions you may not like it at Illumina
Lol what’re you talking about, vcp paid out at like 150% in 2021 Rest of your comment is spot on, but bonus part is outright wrong (although idk when I’d expect it to get paid out in full next)

It's definitely lower so I'm gonna negotiate for more but I wanted to know the range for sr. EE position in bay area at illumina.
