Need help with my resume. Could someone please review it ?

I’m a backend core Java developer with 12+ YOE in FinTech NYC. I have been applying to multiple positions through LinkedIn and career section of various firm’s websites. I keep receiving emails about how they “will be going forward with other candidates”. I wonder if my resume has something fundamentally wrong. Could someone help me out by reviewing my resume ? Don't call yourself a "Java Developer". You're a software engineer with extensive Java experience. A single programming language is not enough to specialize in, and it looks bad that you pigeonhole yourself this way. Be willing to learn any new language if the job requires it. Most places hire you based on general programming skills and will give you ample time to ramp up on their stack. At my job we have Java, Scala, Kotlin, Golang, Ruby, C++ and would never hire someone who self identified as a Java developer.

Hello! You should check out Jobalytics (link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jobalytics-resume-keyword/fkiljfkkceaopbpfgfmjdnkiejaifkgd?utm_source=blind&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwAR1OWWhbqbYPPQjze_2Du2qUCZ2UtcIjz4OXOIjaUzJJarBDqOD6uNXgFUY) -- a FREE chrome extension that can identify missing keywords from your resume based on the job description page. Most companies use application tracking systems to filter out resumes -- if you have the adequate keywords that reflect your skills and also match the job descriptions of the roles you're applying for, it could help you tremendously in the resume-screening part of job searching. Good luck!
