Negotiating Amazon Offer
I recently got an offer from AWS New York (SDE 2/L5). I will have a offer call soon. I have already given an expected TC range of 220k to 250k. But later I realized that the lower end of that range is under selling myself. Have I lost leverage to negotiate by providing that range? Any tips for negotiating something above that range? (I have no competing offers). TC 170k

Uhh dude May be send them em an email saying that after talking with friends and evaluating market you came up with a new number I got 295k with 2 yoe in Bay Area I asked for 310k
Do you think it will be okay to bring up such a conversation during the call?

during the offer call just say you're looking for a higher range, market conditions changed
They made an offer of 275k
Congratulations They always give avg of range Example - So basically range would be 250 to 300k Can you give us the breakdown
How did you do that? Iam in a similar position today. Gave a range of 300-330k for NyC Amazon L5. But feel they can go upto 350-360k. How did you change your requirement?
Just ask for something aggressive and let them meet you where they can.
