I recently completed an onsite at Netflix. The recruiter scheduled a debrief with the hiring manager and me next week to discuss “the feedback and my interest in the role”. Is this a common practice at Netflix? Is there a good chance i might have an offer? It sounds like a fairly positive response to me but i also don’t want to get my hopes up and be disappointed. #netflix
Following. Keep us posted
Sure!
This sounds positive. All the best !
Thank you!!
Yes. Netflix likes to assess actual interest in the role before giving an offer. If this was a rejection, the recruiter would just send you a note.
🥳🥳🥳 Thank you!!
i hope you get it and congrats on moving on from spot!!
I was laid off so Spotify moved on from me 😂
same buddy, on to bigger and better things!
Congrats, what team/org is it for?
I dont want to oust myself, i can say its an eng role
It's neither positive nor negative. It's just a meeting for all interviewers to exchange feedback and make a hiring decision. There is always one if there's an onsite
What do you mean? The debrief is with me
Congrats! How did you get interviewing opportunity? I have been applying on their website but never got a chance to interview so far.
Somebody who used to work at Spotify and is now at Netflix referred me
Congrats! When did you complete your onsite?
2 days before recruiter sent me this message
Hey would you mind sharing entire timeline from applying to this? Also good luck and keep us posted!
It was a 2 month process starting in January to this. There was pretty much 2 weeks between every step (recruiter call, tech screen, x2 hiring manager, onsite). I knew i’d passed on to the next stage within 2 days of each step as the recruiters were really on top of it.
That is such a long process. Thanks for the update!!
Congrats on offer
🤩!!!!!
