Captain used to sink with the ship while everyone else can leave.
Accountability “… with no repercussions” to ceo and to the leadership.
Very ohana
I don't see them taking a pay cut or stepping down...
1500 is nothing for a company out Nikes size
As you get more mega corporations, you run the risk of large scale layoffs having a much more acute influence on local markets and communities. Just because it's a small portion of their entire workforce doesn't mean it's a trivial amount of lives impacted.
That’s sad Nike has been doing layoffs a lot!
Whats the point of responsibility if other people have to pay for their mistakea.
I agree with the overall sentiment here but at least Nike's CEO took some accountability - more than I can say about (both) Workday CEOs.
You need to post in the internal Nike forum more. Would love to pick your brain.
Damn!! Spill that tea 🫖
CEO’s need to stop saying that. It’s tone deaf and annoying arrogant behavior since they know there words have no consequences

Tech companies to avoid as a white guy?
So sick of this self proclaimed responsibility. Just like how sundar uses 20phones now to be responsible for the layoff
This is the art of hypocrisy. You say one thing and you do something else. Some people may get offended but they do not matter.
