No luck hearing back for a data analyst role at Google
I am a data analyst at a tech company. Have been trying to get a call back from Google for over a year and a half with no luck. My skills include SQL, Tableau, Python, excel. Any tips or pointers would be really appreciated. TC: 140K #data #dataanalytics
Imo, market is inundated with analytics grads. I can only image every single one of them applying to google. So if you belong to the general pool, very hard to get a call. Good luck!
Get tier 1 companies on your resume. Even if contract.

I redid my linkedin profile and am having a professional review my resume. Other than that, I really don’t know what else to do. I’m even sending out LI messages to google recruiters, but they don’t respond
Definitely get out of Deloitte. Try for eBay or some other similar company to get a better name on your resume.
Why just target Google?
It’s kind of a dream company in my case. It’s crazy how they never call.
I can understand. My suggestion would be to reach out to Mangers and recruiters on LinkedIn. Besides, also considering other companies, that have roles based on your exp and that pay like google
Rack up experience from worthwhile companies. When I had another FAANG they responded more often.
Not sure how getting good names on the resume works. I have eBay, Walmart labs, Apple internship , and Olacabs on my resume(All in India) and I got rejected for Google positions for which I applied via referrals :) YOE: 5.5 In same boat, I guess :/
