Anyone know what sort of comp package one might get at Nvidia as a software engineer with one year experience? Seems the company is generally interested in my sorts of interests and I think I'd find it very exciting, but don't know if it's worth leaving Amazon for.
Great work in general, but may lack from a compensation perspective
400k is doable if they want you.
I'd presumably come in as a low level employee
Depends on what you mean by low level. I don't know if you have a PhD or not which combined with a year's worth of cisible work absolutely gives you a shot at 300k+. If not, you're probably looking at the 150-300k range
From whay I see on blind, if can be believed, we might be underpaid in base. High level making up for it on RSU. ESPP has been gold. Could i make more at other company? Maybe. But I like my work and make enough to be comfortable. Enjoying the work is more important to me than more money.
I think NV employees are underpaid in both base and RSUs. Maybe base is a bit higher but overall they pay like a semiconductor.. this may not be true if you are management
My friend got 135k + 200 RSUs+ joining bonus(varies from 10k to 40k)
New grad?
200 RSUs is like 40k. Did you mean 200k RSUs?
