Offer at Amazon

Recently interviewed at Amazon. Two great teams from Seattle are interested but I want to move to the Bay Area. Unfortunately the recruiter can't find any open positions for me. How long can I keep the other team waiting? My ultimate goal is to leave my present job for sure! Is your team/any team you know hiring? DM me or comment here and I'll DM you. 1 YOE. TC: 120K

Why?

What do you mean why? Why I want to move?

Yep, why would you want to leave seattle for bay area... not that I love seattle, but San Francisco area is way more expensive

Tell them you wouldn't sign if it is not Bay Area. Then they will find you a team.

They just need to hand you over to a bay area recruiter. Push harder for what you want and they will find something for you.

Seems like good advice. Is there a possibility of me walking out without any offer if I keep waiting?

Specifying position or job family will likely increase your odds.

The recruiter tells me she's trying all the teams. But I did tell her what I'm interested in. But she tells me that most of the positions either filled recently or looking for someone senior.

If you already got a formal offer DONT accept unless is what you want. They'll keep the offer valid for a while. You can confirm that w the recruiter.

Well it's a verbal offer. But unless I pick a team they won't really make a "formal" offer.

Hmmm but did you do the full-on onsite and they said they are "very interested"? If so, I'd still push them to get what you want. Obviously be nice. Been there.
