Offer details: - ADP Canada - Director position - Hybrid 3 days - 155k base, 200k total comp Another offer (but I value the ADP role / opportunity more): - 200k base, 265k total comp My profile: - 11 YOE - MBA + CPA - Current comp: 0 (hit by layoffs in 2023) - Role: Senior manager, non-tech Thoughts on the offer? Any tips on negotiation, and how to?
Ask for more base, and see what they can offer you. Directors at Manulife (also non-tech) top out at 195k base.

They give out director titles at ADP like candies. Half of the directors are grunt lifers.
I think it's a fair comp depending on what location. For augusta that is on par

You already said you value the ADP offer more, and didn’t even name the other company with the better offer. So what are you really asking?
You have no job. Take the offer.
