Received an offer from a reputable tech company in L.A. that places me as an SW2 with a base comp of 140 vs my current 155 as a tech lead. TC is 210 with RSU ( 225 with signing bonus) vs my current 175 ( 275 with signing bonus but I would have to repay about 15k because of clawback if I leave now) Company seems extremely interesting and they seem to have a lot of depth in their engineering teams. WWYD?
Which company?
If RSUs are vested monthly or quarterly, I don’t see a problem, but it’s a hard pill to swallow, I know. I rejected an offer for the same base I make now, but then again I’m underpaid by quite a bit.
It's a one year cliff so for the first year I would only have base+ what's left of the bonus after relocation

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
Base comp is your day to day. Stock is volatile. Personally I'd try to negotiate to close the gap or keep interviewing
