You will hear about it in linkedIn tomorrow :)
GRC Provider. Basically corporate compliance and bullshit.
There is a layoff channel u can post there for more views
/troll Guess OneTrust is a company you can no longer trust. /troll Sorry OP to hear this happened.
OneTrust pulled new grad offers this week too. It is a mismanaged security/information privacy startup that is no stranger to random layoffs and is in a lawsuit filed by employees let go at the start of the pandemic. I hope you land on your feet, OP; being let go has absolutely nothing to do with your competence.
Lawsuit for being let go? I thought employment is at will
Lawsuit is regarding how the employees were selected and the way the layoffs were handled (unequally).
Also laid off at OneTrust. Keep your head up, OP!
Kabir the bullshitter! They had a breach recently.
How did this happen? Were they burning cash? Their selling point to new candidates was the 47000% growth narrative they've had since 2016. They did hire a ton in the last couple of years. But how was it all without any foresight or planning? I've heard this is the second instance of this happening since the pandemic but between these layoffs they hired a ton!
It is probably a load of shit.
Do companies just go on a hiring frenzy just to raise funds? To show that they have growth plans without any value to show for? Extremely ridiculous from the upper management to hire and fire within 6 months citing "financial climate". Either they were clueless about their own financial state or the VC market is being exploited by startup boards to make quick money and get away with it.
I’m curious to know. Did they also fire employees in Europe such as UK, Germany etc. ?
They did actually
And all the employee that came with the acquisition of the company’s they brought
YOE?
