OMG so many comments about sex, what's going on? I stayed with opposite gender roommates at different times for 4 years combined and never faced any problem. We were friends, still are, even though we are in different cities now. There was no sex. Indeed there was nothing sexual at all. All of us were single at that point. Now each of us, except one, is married. The only change from same gender roommates was getting used to seeing their inners lying around in the house somewhere or in the dryer, or probably seeing each other in undergarments or just a towel sometimes.
