Oracle Data cloud vs Oracle exadata cloud service
Hi guys. I got a job offer from both these teams. Any pointers as to which team is doing better ? Any suggestion would help.
My friends working at cloud group and highly dissatisfied with group in santa clara. Exadata is their baremetal series, trying to fake into cloud group using adapter appliances. I wont even consider that group

Yes...santa clara, gateway and other cloud services...it was carved out of colorado based company acquired 6 years ago..my guess
Exadata. Yes, it’s political. Yes, it’s chaotic. But still, go where the money and focus are. Exadata is at the core of the Autonomous DB offerings as well. There will soon be some fun announcements in that space that will dramatically shake up how people perceive Oracle in the DB space. Fight your way into that org, even if only at the fringes, and make your way to the center of the Oracle universe. ODC has been hemorrhaging people. Culture and morale are reportedly in shambles. No doubt it’s an interesting and profitable space, but its future—like all Oracle initiatives that go through the inevitable squeeze—is hazy.

ODC is no doubt doing some good work. Being an insider I can say that. Go for ODC. You will not regret it.
I partially agree with this; based on which team your own. Yet, I’m also attending going away parties almost weekly.

Big no to ODC. They did two rounds of lay off and their business is in very bad shape.

Oracle is NOT the company to join after college campus.. you grow slow , learn less and makes u lazy and skill less to move out. If you have some modern hot startups or regular startups, you'll learn lot more there
