Got a verbal offer on 12/20 -> 135k base 2500/4 RSU 10k Relo for ic2 SRE position in OCI seattle. With the holidays in consideration, what would be the ball park timeline as to what the next steps are and when i could possibly start? on H1B visa... #oracle #hiringprocess #timeline #oci
You and I both, SDE though. My offer is currently in the approval process for written offer, @ board of directors approval according to HM. Probably mid Feb tbh as everything won’t approved until after new year.
Congratulations. Yes, it'll take around 10 weeks for everything. All the best. Yoe btw?
Cool! Congrats on ur offer.. TC?
I’m not h1b but from verbal offer to start date was about 4 weeks for me Probably add two weeks seeing as they shut down for 26th through the 31st this month
So, USCIS won't process applications on 26th-31st?
Oracle shuts down, I’m not sure about the uscis
Similar to yskV77, not on H1 and start date is about 4 weeks after written acceptance. How long does visa processing usually take?
I'm in the exact same boat. Verbal offer on 12/18 with the same exact TC. Hoping that me being a citizen and not needing any sponsorship will speed up the process.
Got my written offer last week and did bg check then also. Set start date with manager at the end of last week too
How was your interview process? LC medium? Any system design?
On the same boat received offer mid December. H1B case is with legal team now
SRE- virtual networking team??
Most likely you’ll start in mid of feb
Thanks.. was about there with my approximation.. just curious how the WLB and general culture like there cos at Charter.. it’s very orthodox and old methods and ways in management... eg. no WFH...
