Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Does PayPal hires for a project rather than team in India? Someone mentioned to me that once project is done the engineer either have to find another project or gets layedoff?
Been here for a while. Doesn't work that way. Do you mean a full-time position or contracting? Because from what I was told 6 years ago, if you are a contractor, not consultant ;-), your contract can't be extended after an year. But it was eBay then
Projects are never done, that’s why people stay
Not that I know off. There could have been one off, and even then i have seen demand for good engineers. Good engineering talent whether they are ICs or managers always have demand which is similar to any other company. I have seen individuals drink their own kool aid and find themselves in the cold at times
