Phone interview with Chevron. Advice

Hi everyone, After 3 professional engineering jobs I applied for Chevron's mechanical design engineering position and they scheduled me for a phone interview with the talent acquisition specialist next week. I always worked for start ups/small companies except this whole past year was my first stint at working for a larger company via contract based. Never interviewed for a major company like Chevron. Can anybody give me some advice on increasing my chances to crack this interview and move forward? Thank you in advance.

We’re mostly software designers in this channel so not sure we have the advice you need? In tech, a first interview with a recruiter is usually an easy phone screen. They’re checking that you’re sane, legit, know how to communicate clearly and succinctly about your career and work. They usually introduce themselves and then turn it over to you for a brief intro where you share your career story and what you’re looking for in your next role. Then they ask questions like what is your process or walk them through a favorite project.
