Phone screen with Amazon
i have a phone screen interview for a SW Dev Manager on the Alexa Experiences team. anyone have any inputs on the team culture and expectations for phone screen??
2 things: Leadership Principles (it’s a religion inside Amazon). When asked, answer with data (I did x and it produced Y as a result) not the hypothetical stuff (I would do A in situation B). Finally (I guess one more), be yourself and talk about what’s most exciting to you. Good luck!
Thanks! For management position what should I expect some sort of technical/coding or design questions?? Or is it mostly centered around the leadership principles?
I can’t tell you specific questions but a lot of folks don’t understand that LPs aren’t just some marketing thing. It’s the language we use internally and it’s the basis of your performance review and your interview So you should look at specific instances in your experience where you demonstrated LPs
