Hey Smart People, Please help me decide which offer makes more sense in terms of overall package and not just numbers, I mean product, engineering teams, upside potential in the career and other benefits overall from both companies. My interview experience with Both companies were top notch with bunch of talented folks and interesting conversations, I liked both hiring manages (honestly both seems so humble and ground to earth) and projects also seem decent. Not sure about other benefits like ESPP, 401k match, HSA Contribution etc , any existing employee can help me decide. PlayStation 200 base + 20% bonus (they said it’s starting range and can go up to 50% for top performers) + 30k sign on bonus , ALL CASH 💵 no Equity First year TC = 270k , Second year (240k-260k) based on bonus. Here they are giving me Staff position. Coinbase 200 base + 10% bonus + 10% sign on + 95/year equity. First year TC = 345k Second year = 310k (highly depend on stock price and refresher) Coinbase if offering fully remote and i can work from anywhere in US, unlimited vacations and 1week off every 3 months (recharge week) and 1500 for setting up office space at home. Please suggest how to weigh current stock fluctuations and future risk, what offer would be good in this situation. I have seen lot of google & meta employees joining Coinbase recently and they are getting paid huge equity. Not sure why i am getting low numbers when my interview went super awesome . Current TC ~260k including base, bonus and RSU/year #playstation#coinbase#coinbasestock #coinbase#google#meta #cas#rsu#crypto#gaming #tech #crypto
PlayStation then send us all PS5s
😂 sure why not , what if same numbers are replaced by Tiktok 🤩
What role and level are these for?
It’s for IC4 I guess, and I have 11 years of experience and working as senior Engg now, not sure if that’s okay to accept
1 week off every 3 months, remote and more $. Complete no brainer
Yeah but their stock is dipping down which is what the concern is even though company reported awesome revenue growth and profit margin year over year
Ask about refreshers. Stock dipping before you accept an offer leaves your with more upside anyway
What location would you be working at for PS?
@Upfj82 Can you share how was your interview experience in both companies? What did they ask?
Awesome so what tech stack you will work on playstation
SDET position so will be setting up test infrastructure and productivity tools for development org
