I interviewed with Apple and it appears they want to make an offer. I didn’t think I did great in my interviews and I never filled out an application. It seems a bit quick here, is this likelihood?
AFAIK Apple doesn’t have pip quota. Why would they hire someone just to fire. Managing someone out is not an easy or pleasant experience.
diversity hire?
Everyone liking this comment isn’t working at apple and is envious of op getting an offer. Best of luck op. You are being hired for a certain reason... you should ask your recruiter for feedback so you can know your strengths.
Not diversity hire. Thanks Facebook, really appreciate it. Worked my butt off. Obviously you think going to Apple makes sense as opposed to staying at Yahoo?
Which org
What you feel doesn’t really reflect your actual interview performance. Apple hires for specific team, you may just got lucky because they don’t have many to pick from. This is different from F/G. AFAIK Apple doesn’t do hire to fire BS.
Paranoid much?
Which org? At apple, it is all dependent on the org

I have an on-site scheduled with them. Would you consider giving me some inputs on what to expect?
lol wtf it’s not Amazon
I imagine you offered ict3 or ict2 role. These are more junior positions and they give more flexibility on interview. Also, Apple hires based on potential to excel and grow. So you can stumble on the interview but still show great attitude to learn and adapt in the role. We don't hire to fire, this isn't Amazon.
They definitely don't hire to fire senior people.
This is just imposter syndrome with extra steps
