Product Manager TC India
I feel like my India TC is way lower than PMs in other firms like #microsoft #google #amazon #salesforce #flipkart etc. TC: Base 39, long term incentive 4/yr (RSU equivalent for my co but its 🥜), Bonus will be 10-15. Total TC: 53-58. (All numbers INR Lakhs) I think base is okayish but RSUs are missing which seems to be the major difference. Management does not seem to understand how the TC has increased in the industry and expects me to be happy with what I am getting. Don't fret much, it's comparable to faang tc. At max 10-15% lesser at your yoe.

Really? I am coming across so many posts on blind where people with similar yoe are getting offers in the range of 80L-1Cr. The difference feels like at least 50-70%. @Microsoft L62-L63 definitely have offers at msft as well in that range or beyond, true?
This year, companies have been paying well, Got an offer from Swiggy TC 50 lkh YOE : 5 (Pm - 4)

80l-1 cr offers are there but quite rare and usually at 10+ yoe. Your comp is not bad for your yoe but maybe you can aim for 70-85 range at this level at Amazon,MS,G or SF
Don't worry, most people quoting that TC is due to Stock appreciation in the last five years. You are not underpaid by market standards. My base is 33 lpa at 5 YOE, 2 in product.
Thanks but I am referring to people who have got offers recently post 2020 or so. In fact, my observation based on blind posts has been that people already at MSFT, AMZN etc have lower TC than the external hires even with stock appreciation. RSUs seem to be very high in those offers around 100-160k over 4 years. That's like 20-30 lpa per year. Btw whats your stock and bonus at SF? And what level and TC can I expect at SF for my profile?
Bonus is 15 percent. The RSUs are terrible, I got a 20K RSU grant at the time of joining. The hikes are 15-20 percent if you perform well. I have no idea about what Salesforce offers for Sr PM & Dr, since they seem have a quite a broad band at that level. It also differs between different clouds.
Why are you not switching to the other companies?
Work was challenging and interesting. That kept me going so far. But, I guess not anymore.
