'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
My company is going through a re-org and titles are changing. I am hoping to understand how the industry name their levels. What are your positions title as Product Designers? Are they visible to all or just your manager? Example leveling: PDI, PDII, senior, staff, sr staff, principal, sr principle at Pinterest Example visibility: Meta has flat titles outside of management. Thank you so much Tc: 200K #design #trch #titles
PD1, PD2, Senior, Staff, Principal. All visible inside and outside.
https://staff.design/resources Has a collection of what you’re looking for.
Interaction Designer 2 - ID 3 - Senior ID - Staff ID - Senior Staff ID - Principal ID - Distinguished Designer (only 2 ppl in the company that I know of) Visual Designer is also used in the UX job family at G. Follows same naming convention Visible to all in the company, although at G people can update public facing title to anything as long as their manager approves My previous company’s leveling was: Experience Designer - Senior Experience Designer - Lead Experience Designer - Principal experience designer
We have Principal ID? Never seen that before, thought it was Senior Staff > Director but that’s management.
Yep, IC L8 is titled Principal (management path is titled Director), L9 is distinguished. Most of the time the Interaction part is dropped, and it’s just Principal Designer, but you still get to it via the ID path if you were in ID before. Both are considered leadership.
Associate, pd, senior 1, senior 2, principal (Ic track) Management track splits after senior 1 or 2 to lead, then manager, and senior manager
For IC roles: Level 4: UX Designer L5-L6: Sr UX Designer L7: Principal UX Designer L8: Sr Principal UX Designer
Product designer I Product designer II Senior product designer Lead designer (IC) or Manager Principal designer (IC) or Senior Manager Director AVP VP
Pd1,pd2,senior1,senior2,lead (=manager),principal(=director).
Thank you! Is it true that titling for UC is not visible to others until management level
I left Meta, this is another company’s title
