Money: SE usual have good base on top of it you get commission of every deal you are involved and at the same time you don’t have to do the hard selling like the sales reps. You have just present the product and the technical details and the commission itself can add easy 100-200k. As for the career growth you have multiple option, you can go to a complete sales role like a AE, client executive, sales director etc but also have the option to move to core technical like a solution architect, implementation consultant, product management or any other customer facing roles etc. The opportunities are more, but from a qa you can become a developer and your pay is also constant.
QA @FAANG.... Looking at long term outlook. Sales is gamble game.
