Looking to switch industries
I am a Principal PM at abbvie looking to a transition to a different industry(preferably tech) I am willing to take a lateral (or even a step down) if it helps with the transition to the right company. I have tried networking with tech PMs through LinkedIn, haven’t gotten any responses. Any advice as to how I can transition?
Yes, I am willing to do that. Legitimate product coaches are hard to find though. Do you have any suggestions?
Hire a coach and placement firm. They at least can tell you what it takes given your background. Hope you are willing to invest money to see if how you can transition to tech, then everyone has skin in the game.
