What type of stock do SpaceX employees typically receive at hiring time? Is it privately owned stock or stock options? What's the typical vesting cycle? Also, is the ownership of the vested stock permanent or still being conditioned to being an employee at SpaceX? (i.e. if you leave or laid off does the vested stock remain yours?) #spacex
Not options, Rsus. When you leave you keep them, up to 10 years I think and you can sell them back each time they offer the buy back event at the last audited price...
New RSUs haven't been issue in 6 or 7 years to new hires and 4 or 5 years as 🥕 incentives. We do get free highly processed 🥜 butter. Edit: I was notified not all SpaceX sites have access to cheap highly processed 🥜 butter. Sad.
This is sad. Elon needs to take of his employees
So no stocks/options? Just base salary at hiring?
Add SpaceX tag not # From what I heard, SpaceX does not give out a lot of stock options. Elon is greedy and he knows there are a lot of people that are willing to work there for 🥜
