Please give me some positive reasons to move to and get settled in Vancouver? note: I work in tech.
What's RE?
Real estate?
Green Card approved before you even move. Extremely quick citizenship. And you can always work in the US after becoming a Canadian citizen.
Wow. Why are Indians complaining about green card queue then? This seems like a good fix.
USA != Canada. Salaries are lower in C
Does Amazon help an employee if they want to move to Canada?
Yes esp for those that didn’t get h1
If you like Asian culture, it has a lot more flavor than Northern Cal or Seattle. So much delicious food. If you love skiing, it provides one of the best skiing resorts (Whistler) in 1.5 hour away. Same beautiful nature as Seattle. Much bigger city than Seattle. Much more stylish and attractive people than tech cities. Opportunity to hit the jackpot if you happen to see rich Asian guy there who is studying but his parent usually have over 10 millions in assets. Not a very good city for families but its education system and public parks have better quality than US cities. High tax means better roads and infra.
Beautiful city and lots of tech jobs. Negative is RE price
Thanks! How RE affects if I plan to get settled there permanently.
Houses will be super expensive. Duh
