Smart locks are just another attack vector, get a dog
Wyze is good and was easy to install on my own in less than 10 minutes.
Yeah I heard the same from a friend nearby. Does Wyze works with Google eco?
August is legit. Some best features as well.
Smart locks are fine and no different than the mechanical locks. I have used them for over 3 years now and they are convenient.
A good deadbolt cannot be beat
Just dont get locked from outside. Or dont activate auto lock. Dont activate autounlock when returning to home. Augusta is what I have. Yale has good review. Wyze also good DO NOT BUY NON BRANDED LOCKS
I have multiple Yale locks. Integration with Samsung Smartthings was a must for me. I was skeptical at first and got one with a physical key. After that I skipped the physical key entirely. I'd seen how great they are. No failures.
I use Yale with August connect, though the z-wave module works pretty well too.
What smart ecosystem do you want to integrate with? That will drive what options are available.
Thanks, will check this one
