Recovering or just Bull Trap?

No one ever knows. If someone ever tell you they know, have them show you their entire trade history with their predictions. How do you evaluate this in an market that's completely over valued for current progress? People talk about this as a bull trap because it recently dropped. How do you know it wasn't a bear trap?
