There are some eng openings in EU + London, anyone knows how much they pay in non US areas? is it worth going through interviews? blind tax: 90k (EU) #reddit
If Reddit pays US salaries in EU then it is easily the best tech employer in the region, especially if you’re in the UK (outside EU) because they pay less than 🥜
yes, key is if they pay. So far could not find any data, nor article outlining that pays are similar globally, there was an article from 2020 outlining how US region based payscale is removed and everyone gets same rate in the US
We don't pay US salaries. Still we are competitive
Btw did you end up applying? I am thinking too
Got offered £145k + 5k RSUs over 3 years (wasn't told the valuation)
What role was this and what was your YOE?
Senior Eng, 8 yoe
