I looked hard at Kirkland and Education Hill last year, bought in Redmond Ridge once we realized how much more space we could get for the money. If you have or are planning for kids, the elementary schools are great, with a new middle school opening. We like the community, very easy access to Redmond, Woodinville, Duvall. I would guess the commute to Amazon could be approaching 1 hr.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah we do have one kid going to daycare now. Heard that Affordable housing construction is going to happen in Redmond ridge in couple of years and school rating may go down. Is that true?

You can afford a place in 98033, if you’re feeling lucky. Couple examples: https://www.redfin.com/WA/Kirkland/12828-NE-103rd-Pl-98033/home/511552 https://www.redfin.com/WA/Kirkland/12716-NE-94th-Ct-98033/home/511402
Educationhill has better schools, hence the homes are pricier. With upcoming light rail coming to Redmond town center, the commute will get much easier from education area. My friends who used to live has horror stories (due to single lane, gets crowded during peak times in AM/PM) of commute and moved to educationhill.
