Moving to Seattle to work for Amazon downtown Seattle Campus. Looking to rent a SFH. Which areas should I target? Also where does one even go to find rental listings? Zillow doesn't seem to have a lot of options.
I used Zillow when I moved here 4 years ago. I hear Burien is really hot for SFH right now because it’s still affordable.

It depends on which Amazon campus.
Downtown. Updated post.
Queen Anne, Magnolia, Fremont, Ballard, Greenlake, and Phinney Ridge You can go more North, but there’s more traffic. You can go West to West Seattle, but right now the West Seattle Bridge is still a mess. Capitol Hill and surrounding area has some nice areas, but do your research on the more family areas and the commute can be a pain even from there depending on where you live. You can go East, but there’s bridge traffic. You can go even further West, but you have to rely on ferries or plan to drive all the way around if possible. Some people like it over there.
Amazon used to set you up with home finder people that will go and find places that match your preference. They then drive you around until you find one you like. Do they no longer offer that?
They do it. Wasn't sure how helpful they would be. I guess they are? I need to get in touch with them I guess.
Long time ago but I was looking for apartments. They were pretty helpful. In the end I decided to go with renting a condo that I saw on Craigslist a couple days before the move to Seattle. Luckily it was still available a couple of weeks later. I think I saw 5 places with them. 2 were good and 3 not so great. Looking back I probably would have been better off going with one of the places they showed me than what I went with. I ended up choosing downtown over ballard off of market street. Ballard probably would have been better off for me socially and it was a nice place she showed me in ballard.
