Anyone know how long does February cycle review takes for Green card process at chase and what the the review process is? Tc: 100k
Hey, whtsup? You tagged
24 months from approvals to i140 approval, if you are maxing out on h1b and process on perm filed then go out of country for couple of months and be back before you file your i140 safe bet.
I feel the delay is built-in into the process to extract out maximum time so you stick around longer.
The current processing time for the process at chase +Ogletree: Step 1: collecting documents to wage determination (2-3) months Step 2: wage determination approval ~5 months approximately Step 3: recruitment and documentation 3 months roughly step 4: PERM approval ~8 months Step 5 i140 approximately 2-3 months Off late I have heard the recruitment happens in parallel after the wage determination is filed.
I'm currently on STEM OPT. I asked for sponsorship when I joined and my H1 wasn't picked this year. Is it possible to push for GC from now? If so, can someone help me understand the process and who to talk to about this?
I don’t know the monthly review cycle for green card at all but my case at chase took a very very long time. Got manager, Md and md’s manager’s approval to kick off the process and then the super slow process with ogle tree.
Once you got approvals, are they taking time to collect documents and apply for PWD or are they delaying at every step?
They do collect documents from you. In my own and my coworker’s experience, the delay was mostly driven by USCIS slowness and Ogle Tree’s. Prevailing wage step is taking longer than before. Also if your direct manager takes this seriously and may help speed up the process, for example, job description and green card ad process. Some managers don’t take this seriously and may bring delay or even perm audit for employees. But all in all, best luck to you and do mention how important this is to you towards your manager.
