Roblox Sourcer/recruiter salary?

Hi All, I am interviewing at Roblox and wanted to see what TC I can expect? YoE: 2.5 TC: $173k #recruiting

Roblox sqlkween33 Apr 20, 2022

What level are u at meta? What level is the role at roblox?

Meta coastinnn OP Apr 20, 2022

IC4

Amazon ladidadoo Apr 20, 2022

Wow yeah please teach me, how do you make $173k with 2.5 YOE in recruiting??

Autodesk dm788P Apr 20, 2022

More than likely they have more than 2.5 years experience. Meta pays well, but not that well for that level of experience.

Roblox 8@$77/;dd Apr 20, 2022

2.5 YOE with 175k TC? Come on bro.

Meta coastinnn OP Apr 20, 2022

Legit what it is, dunno why that is surprising?

I feel like a lot of that has to be equity.

Meta coastinnn OP Apr 20, 2022

Started recruiting in Feb 2020, was in corporate sales for 4 years before so idk if you want to count that as relevant exp

IBM iWAr25 Apr 25, 2022

Hi! Can you talk a little bit about going from sales to recruiting, I am trying to make this switch but getting a lot of rejections mainly because of lack of experience in recruiting

Meta yOUM76 May 5, 2022

Yeah it likely counts and def counts for your YOE at meta to be at IC4 with that comp

Roblox sqlkween33 Apr 20, 2022

Roblox can prob pay a little higher and you’re getting a premium on the stock price if u get in while it’s this low

Datadog RRyN45 Apr 20, 2022

Higher than that with less than 3 YOE?

Roblox sqlkween33 Apr 20, 2022

If they get L4 at roblox yes, not sure if hiring team would stop that though with yoe, might depend on how strong they interview

Apple PJUg76 Apr 22, 2022

TC is believable honestly I have 3YOE and cleared 200K in 10 months at a recruiting agency

Coinbase RxNN88 Apr 24, 2022

There are people who clear 200k year 1 at agency. Doesnt matter YOE

Apple PJUg76 May 2, 2022

Yep! It’s just how hard are you willing to work and how bad do you want it. Only part that sucks is actually waiting to be paid on it

Verizon Media ENgENg3000 Apr 25, 2022

I talked to their recruiter who was older, maybe over 55. Wonder what she gets paid with her years of experience recruiting.

LinkedIn qdzc71 Apr 26, 2022

or less

Or maybe she makes more bc she has experience, depending on her track record, usually with age comes wisdom. With knowledge comes higher pay. Corporate recruiting will pay based on years experience, depending on the value you add. In agency environment it’s different. Let’s imagine you work for yourself. If you place 12 people in a year and earn 25% commission on each ones 200k salary. Math is pretty good there. If you do 24 people at 4-500k with a 30% commission the math is really good. Can this be done? Yes it can. Middle to low tech workers see recruiters as a bother, executive level is more like talent management of elite players. I’d advise people to appreciate good people you meet and give everyone a chance. Recruiting is a little bit like code in the sense that sometimes it’s the best other times is not perfect and difficult to fix. Is that always your direct fault as a developer? Absolutely not. But we all have to make the best of what we’re given. Humans are the most complex product with the most variables. It’s hard to get it right no matter how good you supposedly are.

OP Are you based in high cost?
