Hi all, I’m trying to max out my Roth IRA for 2020 year. I still have $2.5k to max out. $1k went into JETS etf as I expect it to go higher in the future once travel becomes normal. $2.5k went into total stock market index. I’m planning to put the rest $2.5k into total US bond market fund. Is it a good idea? I don’t want to invest more into stocks considering I’m already >50% in stocks. Please suggest. #personalfinance #investments
I bought $BABA, NIO, and PLTR
IMO it depends on your age and how much time/risk in market you have
28, moderate, 10-15 years (technically until retirement but being more aggressive and assuming I’ll start take out initial money in 10-15 years)
VTV or VNQ. Value/real estate stocks will shine once covid is over. Or look at REITs SPG ESS EQR O MAC FRT IIPR. Always good to have exposure to real estate.
That’s a good point. Will probably reduce my bonds exposure and include REITS
+1 optimize for high dividend assets in ROTH since they grow tax free. That’s why REITs are a good asset to include
