I am interviewing for another team at SAP in the U.S headquarters. A manager in Germany once told me that you can’t get a salary bump moving teams internally in Germany, although it may be different in the U.S. Anyone experience moving teams in the U.S and can attest to the salary negotiation experience? I am a tier II engineer and I’m interviewing for a tier III position, so I would hope a salary bump comes with it. I’m also curious where I can find the salary range difference between tier II and tier III, to help me negotiate. Can anyone can provide some insight here too?
I got a 10% bump shifting internally and got t2.3
I've heard multiple times that a 10-15% increase happens quite often. At the end it is all about negotiating. (Germany)
I’ve been told max increase a manager can give without CFO approval is 10%. Anything above that appears to go through quite the approval process.

Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
I recently had internal transfer and got 28% bump!! I know 2 other people, who moved internally in past 2 months and they got about 15-20% increase as well.
Awesome congrats! This gets my hopes up!
It all depends how you perform, how much your new position wants you, and how strong you negotiate....
