How much $ do you need to retire @ 40 years of age?
I'm using Voyager and am happy so far. They pay much better than Coinbase.
Just stake on-chain if you want the best returns. Exchange always give you lower returns because they take a cut of the profits (ex: staking Polkadot on Kraken only gives you like 12% interest instead of the 16% interest you would get if you staked on-chain)
Staking on chain on your own isn't as easy as it sounds. For example to stake ETH you need 32 ETH available capital to lock up. You also need to maintain validators and you risk losses from slashing if there is any downtime. The fees buy the ease of use and domain knowledge that you would otherwise need. (I'm biased. I work at an exchange that offers staking)
I don’t mind getting a bit lower %age APY if it comes with less effort required from my end and zero risk.
Kraken is the best staking platform, crazy secure and leading the market in staking
Haven’t used Binance for staking, but BlockFi has significantly better returns on stables than Coinbase.
What’s their APY for BTC? Can’t find it on their website. Other places have different info.
Not great for BTC, it used to be 4.5% and then they dropped it to next to nothing. Voyager (listed below) is better for BTC, but BlockFi has USDT at 9.25%.
