Is it l4/l5/l6? Just tell the recruiter that u r very interested in the role and see variety of ranges so don't want to mislead. So turn the table and ask for help "give me a number that is offered for this role at Amazon so u can review it closely and compare with other offers"
Let them throw a number first. Then add 30%. They might settle at 15-20%. Depends on ur negotiation and counter offers
I already tried asking them, and the recruiter told me that they cant give me a range until I tell them first.
My aws recruiter tossed out the range right away at my first phone call when I asked her. She said she hope it’s enough for me to consider the role.
