Post the link of the best article/video you found on salary negotiation.
Great link. External decision maker is great — allows you to buy time during a phone negotiation and separate yourself from wanting more money. BATNA is always your best piece of leverage. Find a company that will give you a huge offer and get others to try to match. And lastly, make it seem that you’re willing to walk away, even if you really want the position. Finding great candidates can be hard, and everyone is incentivized to get you to close. FOMO works both ways.
Yeah. Stop letting them suppress our salaries.
I am expecting an offer from Facebook. Don’t have any other offers. So the issues are 1. Can’t counter bases on offers 2. Cannot walk away 3. Recruiter even knew my salary to the last 1K even though I didn’t disclose. 4. Lot of people wanna leave Yahoo What do you think is the best strategy here?
How would they know your salary w/o disclosing? Isn’t this not legal to for companies to ask anymore...
I am really surprised. I actually sent my salary slip to someone on whatsapp. Maybe Facebook got from there !
Woah...

I read this article. It says to tell the recruiter that you will discuss with family/friends first. Do people really tell that? Won’t it show yourself as weak as you are unable to make your decisions?
