Any surprises in these numbers from this audience? #offer #salesforce #tc #mulesoft #velocity #tableau
What's your base?
Base is 70% of $275k. I was told the 30% remaining was performance based. Perhaps that is why someone questioned accuracy.
This is absurd. Bonus is always a % of base, not a % of total. What do you aim to get by spreading fake information?
Directors don't make that much base. I have the bands to prove it.
Yes especially in sales when a majority of pay is based on team performance and margins π

YOE?
25 overall. 10 in the particular industry vertical the role is in.
So this is my 1st time posting here. The tone of the reactions from the SF audience here are interesting to say the least. Suspicion is perplexing. This was the verbal offer from the SF recruiter. I am communicating my understanding of it, which undoubtedly might not be fullproof. I will wait for the written offer and then repost. I am still hoping this audience can provide some help.
If you were honest, you would see a very different perspective of the community. We see you.
"we see you" - That is mob ass creepy. There is being dishonest and there is not having complete info and there is of course chance of misinterpretation. You can't seem to tell the difference. Again, strange. Exit the thread then.
Is this for Sales Engineering? That comp structure sounds like an SE role? Also, what city? $200K/4yrs RSU seems high for a sales role.
How long have you been negotiating.?? Ive gone back and forth twice with the recruiter and she usually gets back to me within a few hours if not by end of day. It's been over 24 hours haven't heard back. Wondering if I lost the offer.
IBM, I went back one time with recruiter. Offer was good enough. The signing bonus and RSUs came in less than I posted, but the salary number of $275 was correct. Only difference was that it was 60\40 split, ($165k salary, $110 incentives).
Hi OP, would you mind sharing how much were you able to move up? I am in a similar boat and would love to get some ideas. thanks!
Good offer
